We offer the traditional color that we see on antique tables and that we find on our own, Blacks and browns. We treat our leather with a conditioner, use an oil dye and finish them with wax giving the pockets the nice feel of an old saddle. It also should be mentioned that leather we use varies a little in shade and the oil die we use can be somewhat variegated over the pocket. There is also the possibility that the color could be a touch lighter or darker than our sample board. Leather is a natural material. The grain and cut will work as they want to produce a beautiful piece of leather work.
Here's two images illustrating the names of the parts and where they go. Fringe can also be used in place of the shields.
